Three key tips to keeping focused and productive with Fitbit Ambassador Luke Hines

It can be challenging to keep motivated and inspired when it comes to physical activity. Fitbit Ambassador Luke Hines shares three key tips with Stadium Stomp participants to help you keep focused in preparation for the big event and throughout your fitness journey.

1.    There’s no ‘one-size-fits-all’ for fitness. Everyone is their unique self with personal attributes, traits and skills, so there’s no reason we should all follow the same ‘routine’ or ‘lifestyle’ to be healthy. Listen to your body and understand what it is that works for you. You can achieve incredible things when you become intuitive, that’s when you’ll see results.

2.    Make your fitness goals measurable. Wearable fitness devices like Fitbit will help you keep focused and accountable whilst also capturing your progress over time. It’s great motivation when you can see how close you are to achieving your goals, but looking back on your progress and accomplishments can be just as motivating whether that’s increase your step count or lowering heart rate– you can only raise the bar from there!

3.    Never forget why you’re exercising in the first place. Whether it’s cleaning up your food intake, increasing your daily exercise or getting better quality sleep, there’s always a reason we start something. Be sure to remember the “why” and acknowledge your motivation whether it’s something you do at the start of your workout or week – this driver is vital to helping you reach your health and fitness milestones.
