It’s been a busy year here at King Performance Events. We welcomed a number of new events to our portfolio and enjoyed watching existing events grow in both attendance and fundraising dollars.
The 17th annual Whitelion AFL finals series luncheon to be held on September 7 has officially SOLD OUT!
Featuring Tony Shaw as MC and a super star panel including Matthew Lloyd, Brent Harvey and Billy Brownless along with AFLW emerging star Katherine Smith.
A hallmark on the AFL and Whitelion calendar this event is another important fundraiser for charity.
At the tender age of five, Seth was diagnosed with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (T-ALL), a rare disease that most commonly affects children. Because the disease progresses quickly, his treatment began soon after diagnosis.
For three and a half years, Seth underwent intensive chemotherapy at Monash Children’s Hospital. He was constantly in and out of hospital for various immune related problems, infections or side effects from treatment. This meant that he missed out on a lot of school and social events.
Despite these challenges, Seth remained steadfast in his courage and positivity, and always had a smile on his face.
Now, at ten years of age and in remission, he lives a happy, active life.
“I like basketball, riding my bike, swimming, playing Pokémon and doing things with my mum, dad and my sister Holly,” he said.
He’s also made the decision to participate in his first ever Stadium Stomp with family and friends, as part of ‘Team Stomping with Seth’.
His mum Nikki participated in two Stadium Stomps in the past, with Seth keenly watching from the sidelines. This time, Seth gets to join her.
“There are ten of us in the team at the moment including me, my sister Holly and my friend Ryan. We will be doing the Junior Stomp and the others are doing the full course. “
Junior Stomp is designed to be more suitable for younger participants (5-12 years) and follows Stomp’s short-course, covering approximately 1900 steps on Level 1 of the ‘G.
So on Sunday the 18th of June at Melbourne Cricket Ground, along with mum, Seth and his team mates will be taking on the Junior Stomp.
The Leukaemia Foundation is the proud charity partner for Stadium Stomp. Funds raised for the Foundation will go towards vital research and providing Australian families facing a diagnosis of blood cancer with accommodation, transport and practical and emotional support.

What a year it’s been! Over the last 12 months we have been locked up in gaol, climbed Australia’s tallest building, put a 400m water slide down a city street, stomped the MCG and delivered our first event overseas.
We were also thrilled to be selected as a National Finalist in the 2016 Australian Event Awards for Event Management Company of the Year.
Oh yeah, and the events we were involved in also raised over $1.6million for charity!
Throughout the year, our team has delivered a total of 20 different events across 18 different venues in 6 states of Australia (plus 1 overseas). These events saw 30,000 participants have fun and achieve some incredible feats, and over 1,500 amazing volunteers helped make them happen.
Thanks for all your support and we look forward to all our supporters joining us again in 2017.
